It's just the first week of 2018 and smartphone makers have already started adding devices to their existing smartphone lineup. One of the early birds is Lenovo which has launched a K series smartphone called the K320t in China.

The handset is already up for pre-booking through JD.com with a price tag of CNY 999 (approximately Rs 9,900) and will go on sale on January 4.

The USP of the smartphone is its full-screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio and dual rear camera setup. It has an 8MP autofocus primary rear camera and a 2MP fixed-focus secondary rear camera. On the front, there is an 8MP camera.

In terms of other specs, the handset has a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 720x1440 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor paired with 2GB RAM. In terms of connectivity, the Lenovo K320t has 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, FM radio, and 3.5mm audio jack.

There is no information about the India launch of the smartphones, but considering that Lenovo has brought the previous K series handsets in India, the K320t should also be expected soon.
Meanwhile, it looks like Lenovo is still going strong in the tablet market in India. According to an IDC report published in November, over 1.1 million tablets were shipped in India in Q3 of 2017. Lenovo also launched another budget tablet called the Lenovo Tab 7 which comes with 4G LTE and is priced at Rs 9,999. According to a report in The Economic Times, Lenovo remains the market leader in tablet segment with 26 per cent market share.

As for the Lenovo Tab 7, it sports a 6.98-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixel resolution, a 5MP camera with LED flash on the back and a 2MP camera for video calling on the front.
